Public Notice of Adequate Yearly Progress
February 5, 2010
Based on final data from the South Carolina Department of Education, Lexington School District Four has been identified as being in Continuing District Improvement. This identification means that certain student subgroups tested in the district did not meet the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) requirements established by the federal and state governments for the past two years. A school district must make AYP for two consecutive years in order to move out of district improvement status.
